I volunteered from 7th grade until 12th and discovered my interest in teaching and passing along the joys of music to children. Also in 7th grade, I began taking voice lessons to better develop my own talent.
It was during my junior and senior years of voice lessons that my voice teacher really encouraged me to consider Music Education as a career.
